L&G has appointed Pauline Plunkett to the role of managing director, Europe, with overall responsibility for L&G’s asset management business across Europe ex-UK.
Plunkett joined L&G in 2014 to lead insurance client relationships. More recently, she undertook the role of CEO of LGIM Managers (Europe) Limited and managing director of Ireland. In these roles, she has been instrumental in building L&G's presence in Dublin and across the continent, while deepening the firm's relationships with institutional and insurance clients.
Commenting on her appointment, Plunkett said: “I am delighted to be appointed managing director, Europe, at such an exciting time for our business. Having recently surpassed €100bn in AUM across Europe, we have strong momentum and significant growth opportunities ahead. I look forward to working with the newly appointed wholesale leadership team to build on this success, deepen our client relationships, and capitalise on the opportunities across European markets.”
